this look was inspired by one of the girls working in MAC in Myer Melbourne :) the liner on her upper lashline was thicker and more precise though... i'm still trying to get comfortable using Fluidline - MAC's gel/cream liner.

beautiful johnjohn asked me the other day how there can be SO many make-up things that i still want, when i already have a big collection.  he draws, so i explained it to him by comparing it to his derwents - so so many different colours, materials, finishes, applications and uses.

an example of how i decide i need something is that while i was doing this look, i wished that i had a vibrant yellow to use as a highlight on the inner corner and above the black liner and a bright orange to place between the hot pink shadow and the red shadow to make the difference in colour more obvious.

hence, i think i will invest in (spend the bank's money on) either:

my Urban Decay Primer Potion is running out, so i thought i'd grab one of these before it ran out completely and i had to run around with un-primed eyelids!

i will let you know what i think of it in general, and in comparison to the UD primer.

love love loving my NARS Gloss in Turkish Delight... definitely recommended... relatively expensive in store (depending on your opinion of what 'expensive' is - $60ish for a lip gloss is somewhat expensive to me - i got it for $45 online.. winner!)

still more things to come in the mail (where did i get the impression that i had any money to spend ? i think paypal makes shopping for too easy!)...

this eye make-up has really made me wish that i had a camera (rather than Photobooth) that could show the colours properly, so you could see how cool it looks... hopefully you'll get an idea of it :)

the eyelid colour moves from white to yellow to pink, and the crease is cut and blended with purples.  eyeliner is very thick and meets the cut crease line at the outer end.
