red queen (or mimi from the drew carey show)

alright alright.

everyone knows the craziness that is country road sale day.

somehow twenty-five-percent-off makes people crazy.

this year, as an homage to the lack of sanity on these days, i decided to be alice in wonderland characters.

last time i was the mad hatter, this time the red queen (queen of hearts).

including black and white striped over-the-knee socks with red hearts on the knees.

Urban Decay Primer Potion

straight line from inner corner to start of eyebrow

fill in all the space between these lines - no fading it out along these lines

Urban Decay Eye Shadow in Alice (bright mid blue)

flat brush

over pale blue

bright blue shimmery loose shadow

flat brush (wet)

over Alice

Urban Decay Eye Shadow in Wonderland (shimmer bronze)

only a tiny bit through crease

(contouring - can't help myself)

Urban Decay Eye Shadow in White Rabbit (shimmer white)

fluffy brush

under eyebrow to highlight

MAC Brow Set in Beguile

MAC Penultimate Liner

thicken toward the centre of the eye

bring the line down

flick at the end along the line of the blue shadow

NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk

waterline

CoverGirl Lashblast Volume Mascara

two coats on upper and lower lashes

MAC Bronzer in Golden

under cheekbone to contour

NARS Blush in Orgasm

different lighting - to show how dark it was when i had to leave!

no one should have to leave their house before seven.. ever..

unless they're flying somewhere fabulous

i challenge ANY customer to yell at me about discounts and returns, without laughing, while i'm wearing THIS eyeshadow

  1. That colour pops on you, I love it. I'm far too shy with my makeup to do this and I would probably look more Halloween than beautiful.

  2. the difference between Mimi's makeup and yours is that you're hot... but don't let it go to your head as you do pull it off but think you'd look amazing with regular make up instead and use your natural beauty to shine instead of having to try and stand out.
